Tasks / Responsibilities
• Guest greetings
• Guest check-in / check-out including payments
• Manages, handles, and responds to incoming calls.
• Arranges and organizes appointments if requested
• Handle guest complaints, special requests professionally and inform supervisor
• Verify all people (guests and crew) on board at departures
• Book guest checks, perform daily closings, enter guest, and crew information at embarkation
• Participate in all safety drills and crew loadings
• Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage
off-loading
• Assist with monthly inventories as per supervisor’s instructions
• Assist other departments as per supervisor’s instructions
Requirements
• A completed apprenticeship or specialized training in hospitality is required
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a comparable guest relations or reception
position in a 4* or 5* operations (hotel or cruise ships)
• Familiar with a multicultural working environment
• Familiar with travelling in Europe independently
• Able to cover day & night shifts as per operation needs
• Good English and good German skills are required
• Strong computer skills (MS Office)
• Previous hotel program experience (Fidelio, Resco)
• POS system experience is required
